Operations Controller

Pay: Up to $180,000 Profit Sharing (up to 10%, prorated based on quarterly performance)

Location: 100% On-site in Chattanooga, TN (5 days a week in downtown office)

Summary:
Seeking a seasoned Operations Controller to lead manufacturing financial operations for a respected container manufacturing company. 

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience within high-volume manufacturing environments
• At least 3 years of leadership in operational finance or cost accounting teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation
• Proven ability to analyze variances, manage inventory, and support budgeting/forecasting processes
• Experience with ERP systems and system implementations

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic operational financial plans to enhance profitability and efficiency
• Collaborate with the corporate finance team to prepare accurate financial reports and statements
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to align with business goals
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs, implementing cost reduction initiatives
• Actively participate in the deployment of ERP systems to streamline financial and operational data
