Position Overview
As the temporary Medical Front Office Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients. Your role is essential in keeping our daily operations smooth and professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and check patients in and out
- Verify insurance and process referrals and authorizations
- Communicate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up
- Manage medical records and ensure confidentiality compliance
- Collect copays and handle basic billing inquiries
- Assist with general administrative tasks and daily office upkeep
Qualifications
- Experience in a medical office setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EMR systems and HIPAA compliance
- Warm, professional communication style and ability to multitask
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
