Job Title: Storage Network Engineer

Pay: $100,000 - $125,000 annually

Location: Downtown Dallas, Hybrid (on-site as needed)

As a Storage Network Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting and optimizing the firm’s Citrix virtualization environment, focusing on storage and network traffic management. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years supporting Citrix VDI environments, with a focus on network traffic analysis and storage performance
• Deep understanding of Citrix ICA traffic and protocol optimization
• Experience with enterprise storage (SAN/NAS), including iSCSI, NFS, SMB, Fibre Channel
• Proficiency with network analysis tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or NetFlow
• Knowledge of networking hardware (Cisco, Palo Alto) and virtualization (VMware)
• Strong cross-team communication skills and ability to translate technical details effectively

Responsibilities:

• Support and monitor Citrix Virtual Desktop environments, analyzing ICA traffic to identify and resolve performance issues
• Collaborate with Citrix, storage, and network teams to troubleshoot and optimize traffic flows and storage performance
• Evaluate storage system health and its impact on Citrix workloads, making recommendations for improvements
• Utilize advanced monitoring tools to observe real-time data traffic, resolving anomalies and bottlenecks
• Act as a liaison among storage, network, and systems teams—ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, performance metrics, and troubleshooting procedures
• Participate in after-hours support, maintenance windows, and on-call rotations as needed
