Pay: $200,000 - $250,000 annually 

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid)

This role involves developing and maintaining low latency trading systems, collaborating on architecture decisions, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of critical applications. Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Java development within low latency environments
• Experience with electronic trading systems, including FIX Protocol, market data feeds, and post-trade processing
• Proficiency with Linux operating systems
• Strong understanding of data structures, messaging APIs, and application recovery mechanisms
• Ability to participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in production environments

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with technology and operations teams to shape system design and architecture
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Java application frameworks and APIs
• Manage the deployment, build, and dependency management processes
• Contribute to critical systems such as order entry, market data processing, and system monitoring
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues swiftly and effectively
• Support ongoing system improvements to ensure high performance and reliability
