Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Coordinator to join a dynamic and expanding organization. Reporting directly to the Director of Technology, this role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, serving as a key player in IT operations, project management, and vendor coordination. The Senior IT Coordinator will ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, and scalable across multiple locations, supporting the organization’s growth and technology integration initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead small teams, oversee critical projects, and contribute to a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience (5-7 years)
- 1-2 years of leadership or senior IT support experience
- Proven experience managing or coordinating with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and external vendors
- Technical proficiency in Windows OS, networking protocols, firewalls, VPNs, cloud systems (Azure, Microsoft 365), and Microsoft SharePoint
- Experience with IT ticketing systems, remote support tools, endpoint management (Microsoft Intune), and virtual desktop environments (Azure Virtual Desktop)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple workstreams and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor internal IT team members, providing guidance and support
- Serve as primary liaison with MSPs, ensuring service levels and ticket management meet organizational standards
- Support and maintain cloud infrastructure, network security, and overall IT systems stability
- Monitor backups, disaster recovery, and respond to incidents swiftly and effectively
- Oversee IT projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, and process improvements, coordinating with internal teams and vendors
- Provide advanced technical support and training to users, ensuring high customer satisfaction
- Manage IT asset and inventory documentation, including hardware, software licenses, and configurations
- Support network administration across multiple sites and remote locations
