Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
- Illinois RN License required
- ACLS certification required
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and plan nursing care for assigned patients, documenting all activities accordingly
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Perform patient tests and administer medications as appropriate
- Promote patient independence through education on condition management, medications, and self-care
- Maintain familiarity with standard practices and procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Utilize experience, judgment, and creativity to accomplish patient care goals and tasks
