We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape/Lawn Maintenance Foreman to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive weekly rate with potential performance based bonuses. Candidates MUST possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. As a Landscape Foreman, you will play a vital role in leading and supervising our landscape maintenance operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a team environment. Our shifts start promptly at 6:00 AM and typically last 8 to 10 hours, including a lunch break.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a crew of gardeners and landscapers to ensure efficient and high-quality landscape maintenance services.
- Perform and oversee grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns using various motorized equipment.
- Utilize pruning techniques to maintain shrubs and ornamental landscape features in optimal condition.
- Assist with light plant installation and beautification to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the landscapes.
- Conduct routine grounds maintenance activities, ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the assigned areas.
- Load and unload equipment and tools into vehicles and trailers, ensuring proper organization and storage.
- Drive work vehicles to and from worksites, adhering to all company safety standards and traffic regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to crew members, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a landscape foreman or similar leadership role.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
- Strong knowledge of grounds maintenance techniques, equipment operation, and plant care.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficient in adhering to safety standards and promoting a safe work environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
