What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Manager position at Prestige Institute?
Prestige Institute is looking for a full-time Front Desk Manager who can work at our Westchester, NY !
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and direct visitors to make the workplace an inviting place
- Work closely with the Admins to ensure the operation of the branch (scheduling, parent seminars, intensive programs, etc.) goes smoothly and satisfaction of students and parents is good
- Ensure effective communication between Prestige’s administrators, faculty, parents, students, and members, directing them to appropriate channels
- Coordinate consultation meetings between parents and the Assistant Director OR the Director
- Make phone calls to students and teachers in the case of absence or tardiness and keep the Admins informed at appropriate times
- Answer phone calls and emails on behalf of the branch providing information of Prestige’s current study programs and online information to students and parents
- Perform clerical duties (ordering and stocking office supplies, photocopying, printing, filing), update records such as class schedules and student transcripts
- Possibly respond to urgent errands or needs of the institution
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree
- Language proficiency: Must be able to speak English fluently
- Could commit for at least a year
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US
Preferred skills:
- Language proficiency: Korean
Schedule:
- 5 days per week (4 days in the week, and Saturday)
- 8 hours per day (Weekdays 12-8 PM AND Saturday)
Generally,
> The working hours are afterschool hours & Saturdays during the school year.
> During the summer, the schedules may change a little due to intensive courses.
