Construction Laborer
Overview
We are seeking hardworking and dependable Construction Laborers to join our residential construction team. In this role, you will assist skilled tradespeople with home renovation and improvement projects. Work may include assisting with demolition, framing modifications, installing new materials, and supporting various stages of residential remodel projects. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience while working on a variety of renovation and remodeling projects. Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and other trades during framing, siding, roofing, and finish work
- Load, unload, and transport materials such as lumber, drywall, windows, and doors throughout the job site
- Measure, cut, and stage materials for installation under supervision
- Assist with layout, framing, blocking, and installation of building components
- Help install building materials such as sheathing, siding, trim, and hardware
- Set up ladders, scaffolding, and work areas safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Operate hand tools and assist with power tools when needed
- Follow safety procedures and instructions from supervisors
- Complete tasks as assigned by the site supervisor
Requirements
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus
- OSHA certification is a plus but not required
