Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and services on Ford diesel vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical issues with Ford diesel vehicles
- Perform complex repairs, including engine overhauls, transmission replacements, and other major repairs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and identify issues with vehicle systems
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all services performed and parts used
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and services needed
- Stay up-to-date with new technology, procedures, and techniques to maintain and enhance technical proficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ford Diesel Certification required
- At least 2 years of related work experience in a similar role
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have own tools
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
