Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on used vehicles, including engine repairs, powertrain servicing, electrical systems, and vehicle systems troubleshooting.
• Utilize automotive diagnostic tools and interpret wiring diagrams to accurately identify issues across various vehicle models.
• Conduct repairs on diesel engines, automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and perform wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Follow schematics and technical manuals precisely to execute repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required during vehicle maintenance or body repairs while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and communicate findings clearly with team members and customers.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with used vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic procedures.
• Experience with ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, diesel engine repair, and automotive repair standards.
• Familiarity with automotive repair tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward vehicle care and client interactions.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of automotive body repair processes is a plus but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
