Duties
- Safely operate standard passenger cars and light trucks, including manual transmission vehicles, to transport auction vehicles between locations.
- Load and unload vehicles with care, utilizing proper heavy lifting techniques to prevent damage or injury.
- Navigate parking areas and outdoor lots efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Process cash transactions accurately when handling payments or fees related to vehicle transfers.
- Communicate clearly with team members, auction staff, and customers to coordinate vehicle movements and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle deliveries, pickups, and cash transactions for accountability.
- Assist with outdoor work tasks such as vehicle inspections, and ensuring the security of parked vehicles.
Skills
- Proven experience in driving, preferably with dealership or delivery driver background.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in bilingual settings if applicable.
- Knowledge of automotive service procedures and basic retail math for cash handling.
