We are expanding and launching a new Fire Alarm & Security Division within our established fire sprinkler installation and service company and we’re looking for a skilled Senior Fire Alarm Technician ready to take the next step in their career.

Job Description
This is more than just a technician role; it's a clear path toward leadership and management as we grow this new division from the ground up.
Hours typically M-F, 7am-3:30pm depending on job site needs (start times may vary 6am-8am), with the opportunity for Overtime.
Range of work will generally be just outside the 495 corridor to the coast - i.e. Greater Boston, Southern NH, and Eastern & Central Massachusetts. Our home office is located in Billerica, MA, right off Rte 3.
Essential Functions:
- Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system repairs
- Lead and execute fire alarm system installations
- Program and commissioning fire alarm systems (preferred experience)
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to build out division processes
- Oversee Tests & Inspections
- Train technicians on the Test & Inspection process
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards
Qualifications
- Must have a clean driving record
- Proven experience in fire alarm system installation and diagnostics (required)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a growing environment
- Massachusetts Class B Journeyman or Class D Systems Technician License (required)
- Fire alarm system programming experience (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Holds high ethical standards at all times
- Proven track record of reliability and punctuality
- Self-motivated and able to work in a self-directed environment with an upbeat attitude
- Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts typically 8 hours, occasionally longer
- Capable of moving up and down stairs and working on ladders & scissor lifts
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass security clearance (required for some jobs)
