Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
- Assist with janitorial duties including trash removal, restocking supplies, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces.
- Support facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and prioritize high-traffic or special event areas.
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services within commercial or residential settings.
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods and climbing ladders if necessary.
