Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse distribution, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Manage inventory management systems and conduct regular inventory control audits to maintain accuracy and reduce discrepancies.
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff and supervisors, providing guidance on warehouse management best practices and safety protocols.
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse performance.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations by conducting regular safety training sessions and inspections.
Skills
- Event/Tent Industry experience is a optimal skill
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles preferably in the event/tent industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment such as forklifts; forklift certification preferred.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff effectively.
- Deep understanding of OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and materials handling.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
