What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Laser Operator position at Prestige Dry Cleaning?
Total responsibility for the safe, quality, and efficient operation of a press.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operation of a production stamping press including proper set-up from last-piece to first-piece approval.
- Maintains work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Assists in the loading of steel coils.
- Removes scrap and applies lubricants as needed.
- Conducts the visual and dimensional checks of parts for defects. Quality Checks as assigned per policy
- Maintains a constant watch of die and stock to prevent mis-hits and jamming of parts.
- Moves both full and empty bins/racks/containers to and from presses as needed.
- Supports and follows all safety rules as well as Company policies and/or rules.
- Shuts down any process if that product does not meet its specific quality requirement.
- Works with team members / management staff to attain Company goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience operating forklift, overhead crane and other industrial machinery preferred
- Understanding and working knowledge of all job-related Quality Objectives, Quality System Policies, Procedures, and Instructions.

Pay: $ $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
