We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drywall Hanger and Finisher/ Painter to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure, cut, hang, and secure drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to project specifications.
- Finish drywall joints by taping, mudding, sanding, and smoothing surfaces for a seamless appearance.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by applying primers, sealers, or other preparatory coatings.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or airless spray equipment to achieve a professional finish.
- Perform plastering and stucco work as needed to enhance wall durability and aesthetics.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute installation plans and ensure proper fixture placement.
- Assist with related tasks such as trim carpentry, caulking, door hanging, and fixture installation to support overall project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall hanging, finishing, and painting within construction sites or restoration projects.
- Skilled in plastering, taping techniques, metal stud framing, and stucco application.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other relevant equipment safely.
- Knowledge of plumbing (including construction plumbing), masonry work, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixtures.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
