Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and grinding concrete using walk-behind grinders to ensure proper adhesion of epoxy coatings
- Apply primers and perform all necessary surface prep before coating
- Mix epoxy resins and hardeners according to manufacturer specifications
- Apply epoxy coatings using hand tools, trowels, and rollers with precision and efficiency
- Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, and plastering to achieve smooth results
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project scope and application methods
- Conduct quality checks to ensure coatings are uniform, properly cured, and meet safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and dispose of materials properly
Requirements
- Experience in construction painting, industrial or residential painting, or renovation projects involving epoxy coatings
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and perform basic measurements
- Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
- Experience with surface preparation such as concrete finishing, plastering, stucco, and caulking
- Understanding of safety protocols for construction sites and chemical handling
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay: $20 to $25 per hour
