We are seeking compassionate, altruistic professionals interested in administrating psychiatric medicine to patients. The successful candidates will work as part of a team that provides primary care for patients in urgent care, internal medicine, geriatrics and home health settings. Candidates must be experienced in administering psychiatric medicine, and will work in a collaborative and supportive environment to provide pain relief, therapy and other patient care needs.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate patients' physical and psychological health.
- Educate patients on proper health care techniques and encourage healthy lifestyles.
- Provide information to families, doctors, and nurse practitioners on the state of their patient's health.
- Health care insurance.
- Drug administration.
- Diagnose patients.
- Prescribe medication.
- Prepare patients for surgery.
- Develop discharge and follow-up care plans for patients.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $58.00 - $64.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
