Prestige-Ledroit Distributing Co. is currently hiring for a Wine/Spirits/Beer Specialist in the Baltimore Metro area.
As a Wine/Spirits/Beer Specialist, your primary function is to cultivate relationships in a predetermined territory and leverage those relationships to grow revenue and achieve business objectives. This typically involves:
- Conducting daily in-person sales calls with existing customers
- Assessing the needs of your customers and finding solutions within our portfolio
- Preparing and executing sales presentations
- Maintaining records of presentations and following up accordingly
- Supporting and executing on company priorities and sales objectives
- Utilizing reports and data to ensure satisfactory performance within the territory
- Communicating with sales management to overcome obstacles
You are also responsible for:
- Conducting in-store tastings, staff trainings and events. This may include events taking place in the evenings and on weekends
- Complying with all laws and regulations governing the sale of alcoholic beverages
- Maintaining a business professional personal vehicle
- Meeting the requirements to hold and maintain a Solicitor’s Permit
- Working in an environment that prizes individual performance while fostering strong teamwork and shared objectives
