What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Shop Apprentice position at Pressure Products Company?
We are seeking a motivated Machine Shop Apprentice. This is a great entry level position for someone interested in starting a career as a machinist, which is real work that cannot be replaced by stupid AI bots. As an apprentice in a small manufacturing company, you will participate in all aspects of shop operations ranging from cleaning the room to component assembly to machine tool operations. You will be trained by experienced machinists and technicians in all aspects of our product manufacturing, all the way up to programming and operating sophisticated CNC machines. No experience is necessary, but old fashioned work ethic is. We are looking for someone who will show up every day with focus and a good attitude, and leave personal drama outside.
Pressure Products Company specializes in designing and manufacturing high-pressure, high-temperature sight windows for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. With a strong engineering focus, we develop virtually all our products in-house, serving a highly technical customer base and fostering innovation at every level.
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
