Job Description
Pressler, Felt & Warshaw, LLP. is a nationally recognized creditor’s rights law firm operating in the tri-state area. The firm’s corporate office is in Parsippany, NJ. We are looking for a Bookkeeper with 1-10 years of experience. This position will assist bookkeeping department with multiple tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and journal entries.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Primary responsibilities include invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Support client reporting needs for firm
- Prepare monthly reconciliations of all bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare monthly reconciliation of other general ledger accounts as assigned
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Assist in preparation of the annual financial audit
- Manage and reconcile inquiries, refunds, and cancellations
- Enter and/or ensure proper entry of accounts receivables, consumer deposits, and other financial transactions
- Trust Account management and reconciliations
- Provide coverage and general support for finance and administrative functions
Qualifications: * Minimum 1 year bookkeeping experience
- Proficient knowledge of QuickBooks Software is preferred
- Extremely organized, high level of attention to detail, and task-oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
