Position:
We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team located in Magnolia, Texas. This role reports directly to our U.S based Company Managing Director, with an additional reporting responsibility to our CEO in Norway and will drive our organization in finance and accounting activities across our global operations.
The Finance Manager ensures compliance with internal and external reporting, manages month-end and year-end processes, annual statutory reports and assists with the annual budget and forecast processes. This role is responsible for all finance and accounting functions across the United States, Canada and Australia and works cohesively with other subsidiaries across the group.

Responsibilities:
- Strategically leads and develops all financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including accounting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Prepares and presents monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to internal stakeholders, executives, and board members
- Influence financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures to current economic landscape
- Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements
- Maintain internal control safeguards for the receipt of revenue, costs and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures
- In conjunction with the CEO and at group level alignment, establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis
- Assist in directing general and/or property accounting, internal auditing, cost accounting, budgetary controls, and taxes of the company.
- Monitor areas of the company in conjunction with department managers for profit control
- Accountable for timely annual reviews, audits, and tax preparations with appropriate internal/external stakeholders in and outside the US
- Oversees and reviews risks and rewards associated with insurances
- Responsible for collaborating with management and comprehensively understanding the business’ operation and strategic direction
- Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity
- Well-developed service orientation, ability to understand and meet the needs of various stakeholders and customers
Key requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Finance Manager & Accounting or Controller position and leadership exposure
- Previous financial experience within a global remit
- Demonstrated experience using FP&A software systems
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, HLOOKUPS, Pivots (including Slicers), INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, MID)
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple deadlines in parallel in a dynamic high-growth environment
- Being open to change, flexible, energetic, and adaptable
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to simplify complex financial position to non-financial groups to deliver project outcomes and profitable margins
- Display Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
