You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the overall production process, ensuring the highest quality Pressed Floral products.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Management
- Provide leadership training and feedback to the preservation team, ensuring that they work cohesively towards common goals.
- Manage and mentor preservation staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Maintain frequent meetings and communication to ensure information is relayed correctly and shared with the preservation team, and management of departments.
- Collaborate with the Operations Department and Head of Preservation in Team Management efforts.
- Assess processes and strategies and collaborate with operations and Head of Preservation to discuss strategies and process change feasibility
- Conduct thorough assessments of bloom intake in order to contribute to a staffing plan that is most conducive to efficiency and workload.
- Ensure that all received blooms are pressed within a reasonable and workable time period.
- Maintain rigorous quality control standards to ensure the final pressed flower products meet the company's high standards of excellence.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor equipment used within the preservation department, such as presses, pressing supplies, etc., ensuring proper function and inventory levels.
- Act as a primary and trusted point of contact within your department, mitigating conflict when it arises in a prompt and compassionate manner.
- Monitor and approve communication between preservation specialists and clients where relevant, ensuring that brand voice is consistent and clients are satisfied.
- Work closely with other departments, including design, fulfillment, and other Preservation Management Personnel to streamline processes, enhance overall product quality, and ensure various business needs are met, including cross-training to meet production demands.
- 1 years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
