About the Role: To support our growing operations and maintain the premium standard our clients expect, we've developed a custom internal application that we use daily for employee KPIs, product tracking, and managing client experience. As we scale, we're looking to expand this system to include in-app shopping and more advanced employee tracking capabilities, while also continually enhancing our website's UX and conversion rate through strategic A/B testing and iterative improvements.
We're seeking a skilled AI-Integrated Full-Stack Developer to join our team on a part-time, long-term contract basis. You'll work closely with our internal stakeholders to enhance both the functionality and user experience of our custom-built systems — and you'll be expected to leverage AI tools and models (including Claude by Anthropic) as a core part of how you build, ship, and iterate. This role requires a strong balance of front-end UX design expertise, robust back-end development capabilities, and practical experience integrating AI into production applications.
This is a long-term, part-time contracted role with the potential to go full time. While we do not have a fixed salary for this role, we are committed to fair, competitive pay and are open to discussing compensation that reflects your experience, skills, and market expectations.
App Infrastructure Overview: Our application is built across two GitHub repositories. The front end is developed in React Native, which powers both our native iOS/Android apps and our client web portal via a separate build process. The back end is a C# ASP.NET 8 Web API connected to a Postgres database and Azure Blob Storage for managing media assets. We host our production API and web applications in Azure, with Siqute providing hosting support. Staging environments for the API and database are hosted by Siqute to minimize Azure costs. Build and deployment pipelines for all environments are managed through Azure DevOps. Push notifications are handled via OneSignal.

Responsibilities Include
- Design, build, and maintain new features for our internal application, including:
- In-app shopping functionality
- Enhanced employee performance and tracking tools
- Client-facing UX improvements
- Connections with third-party APIs
- Integrate AI capabilities into internal tools and customer-facing experiences using the Anthropic API (Claude), including features such as intelligent assistants, automated workflows, and smart data summaries
- Build and maintain AI-powered features including prompt pipelines, tool use / function calling, and agentic workflows where appropriate
- Use AI coding tools (such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot) as a standard part of your development workflow to accelerate delivery and maintain code quality
- Collaborate on UX/UI improvements across internal tools and customer-facing website
- Implement and analyze A/B testing strategies to optimize site performance and CRO
- Maintain and improve code quality, security, and scalability
- Participate in planning sessions and provide technical guidance on project direction — including advising on where AI can meaningfully improve our systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise on both website functionality and application
- Proven experience as a full-stack developer (3 years preferred)
- Strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic/Claude strongly preferred; OpenAI acceptable) into production applications
- Comfortable working with prompt engineering, context management, and tool use / function calling patterns
- Experience designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces with a focus on usability
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools and UX experimentation
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a part-time setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong eye for design implementation and translating brand vision across all platforms
- Strong proficiency in: React Native, C# / ASP.NET, and Shopify & Shopify Liquid
- Experience building with the Anthropic API and Claude specifically (tool use, multi-turn conversations, agentic workflows)
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration
- Experience building AI-powered internal tools or automations
- Custom internal business tool development
- E-commerce or in-app shopping development experience
- Knowledge of employee metric tracking systems
- Ability to connect face-to-face on occasion for high-priority projects
