DELIVERY DRIVER AND MANUFACTURING SUPPORT ASSOCIATE

With its rich 60-year history and new long-term contracts, Pressco is looking for a few key individuals who want to be a part of its continued growth and stability. We are seeking an experienced and eager Delivery Driver and manufacturing support associate to deliver and pick up shipments, and incoming and outgoing outside processing, working with local companies. While not driving, our associate will be assisting with shipping, receiving, partmark, and inventory projects as assigned. This position will work closely with purchasing, customer service, outside processing, material planning, and department leads to assist with the product workflow.

Job Duties and Essential Functions:

• Excellent customer service as a front-line point of contact to on-location vendors and customers
• Deliver and pick up parts on time at the assigned destination, ranging from Everett to Tacoma
• Ensure proper paperwork is completed and included with each delivery and pick-up
• Anticipating upcoming orders and planning a delivery schedule and route planning
• Order picking, pre-shipment counting, and packing parts
• Other shop tasks as assigned in the shipping, receiving, inventory, and/or part mark departments

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen due to ITARS requirements
• High level of attention to detail, critical thinking, accuracy, and sense of urgency
• Current and valid driver's license
• Clean driving record. A driver abstract will be requested upon hire
• Self-starter and motivated
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience in a commercial van or larger. CDL is not required
• Excellent attendance and time management
• Standing and sitting for extended periods of time
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with active listening. Must be fluent in English.
• Proficient computer skills - Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, and Outlook). We will train on our ERP (Visual Manufacturing).

Compensation is dependent on experience and is evaluated regularly based on merit and performance. This position is paid hourly in a range of $21.00 to $24.00 per hour and is full-time, Monday through Friday. Upon completion of the probationary period benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k), and voluntary supplemental insurance options.
