Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and skilled Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of beverages and food items
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring proper processing of payments and tips
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and beverage stations in compliance with food safety standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggestively sell specialty drinks to increase revenue while ensuring quality consistency
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beer, wine, mixers, and garnishes; communicate supply needs proactively to management
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently by managing time effectively during busy periods while maintaining high service standards
Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment with a focus on fine dining or upscale venues
- Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, wine varieties, brewing processes, and spirits industry standards
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders simultaneously
- Experience in food handling and safety procedures aligned with food industry regulations
- Demonstrated ability to develop beverage recipes creatively and contribute to menu innovation
- Previous bar management or supervisory experience is a plus but not required
