Job Description: As an Event Coordinator at Press, you will work closely with the Event Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute private events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale on and off-site events.
Responsibilities:
- Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and executing of private events, including weddings, corporate dinners, and special celebrations, from inception to completion.
- Client Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, understanding their event needs and preferences and providing personalized service to ensure satisfaction.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors, such as florists, musicians, and rental companies, to secure necessary services and amenities for each event.
- Logistics Management: Coordinate event logistics, including setup, breakdown, staffing, and equipment rentals, to ensure smooth operations on the event day.
- Menu Planning: Collaborate with the culinary team to organize customized menus tailored to each event, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences as needed.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing event budgets and closely monitor expenditures to ensure events are executed within established financial parameters.
- On-Site Supervision: Oversee event execution on-site, providing guidance to staff and resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during the event.
- Post-Event Follow-Up: Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback from clients to continuously improve our event offerings and services.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality management, preferably in a high-end restaurant or luxury hotel environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to service.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and quality.
- Proficiency in event management software (triple seat preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate event schedules.
Salary : $20 - $30
