The Role

As a Senior Collaboration Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and support of advanced solutions for customers across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Teams voice and video cloud collaboration solutions.

Travel Requirements:

In this role, you will be expected to travel to client sites up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead project delivery team through project life cycle, including design, implementation, and support, across technology platforms.
• Collaborate with members of our National Collaboration team, contributing to the team's overall success.
• Work alongside vendors to successfully deploy their solutions as a subset of our projects.
• Become a trusted advisor and partner to our customers.
• Work with clients to structure project success to align with business goals:
• Lead discovery meetings and participate in detailed design whiteboard sessions
• Define design requirements and articulate the designed solution to the client
• Validate architecture
• Exercise and improve on skillsets that directly relate to Microsoft voice and video technologies and other emerging technologies.
• Understand, adopt, and develop industry best practices.
• Work parallel with Project Leaders, Coordinators, and Management in developing and delivering project documentation and UC trainings, according to defined project deliverables.
• Author professional documentation for client review.
• Author logical and physical diagrams using Microsoft Visio.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience.
• 6 years of progressive work experience with Microsoft Collaboration technology solutions, and associated technologies
• Microsoft Teams certifications strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Collaboration solutions, to gather requirements to build and support new deployments in mid and large-scale environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft voice and video components.
• Proficiency in server virtualization and cloud solutions.
• Understanding of underlying Infrastructure as it applies to Virtualization, Microsoft Active Directory, Intune, and Exchange.
• Experience with potential third-party components that integrate with deployed solutions such as Audiocodes, Poly, Cisco.
