Job Title: Lucy Rede Franco Middle School Principal
District: Presidio ISD
Reports to: Superintendent
Contract: 226 Days
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Education
- Texas Principal Certification (SBEC) or other appropriate certification
- Two years experience as a classroom teacher
- Leadership role(s) experience perferred
Duties:
- Have working knowledge of educational requirements and programs (GR 6-8) and ability to supervise instruction and curriculum of students at designated campus.
- Manage employee’s evaluations, professional development, and assignment(s), create a positive work environment and implement campus improvement strategies
- Conduct appropriate conferences with staff and/or students, as needed, with ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality
- Maintain a fair and equitbale student discipline cycle
- Ability to promote individuals for employment within appropriate hiring protocols
- Collect, analyze, employ and file data reports for use (attendance, funds, etc.)
- Manage educational budget effectively
- Promote parental involvement
- Compliance with all district policies – handbooks, state and federal laws.
Salary:
Commensurate with years of experience and qualifications
