Dermatology Medical Assistant / Receptionist
We are a thriving dermatology practice seeking a responsible, charismatic, upbeat person to join our team to do both front office and back office work. We are looking for someone who is interested in dermatology and ideally who has worked in the medical or aesthetic field in the past. We have a positive and friendly work environment and are hoping to find someone who will enjoy working with our patients and colleagues as much as we do! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phones, checking patients in
- Verifying insurance
- Rooming patients and taking a history of present illness
- Assist with dermatologic surgeries and cosmetic procedures
- Back office work such as prior authorizations, maintaining pathology logbook, referrals, refill requests, and other related assignments as needed
Requirements:
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification big plus
- High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
- Must be friendly and professional
- Well-spoken and articulate
- Professional and courteous people skills
- Computer proficiency a MUST
- Hours: Full time 40 hrs/week M-F, OR part time 32 hrs/week M-Thu
