Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in school buses
- Perform routine maintenance on buses to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize power tools and welding equipment to complete repairs and modifications as needed.
- Inspect critical components for wear and damage.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on equipment.
- DOT Inspection Knowledge
- Experience with Diesel engines
Requirements
- Proven experience in school bus repair or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of equipment.
- Proficiency in using power tools and welding techniques.
- Ability to diagnose issues effectively and implement appropriate solutions.
