Duties
- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding food service and customer care.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
- Manage all aspects of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering, and waste reduction strategies.
- Supervise staff training programs focused on food safety, food handling, and hospitality best practices.
- Handle shift management duties such as scheduling, supervising staff performance, and ensuring smooth operations during busy hours.
- Maintain compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures across the restaurant.
- Conduct interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of team members to build a strong workforce.
- Monitor budget adherence, analyze sales data, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
- Support catering services, banquet events, or bar operations as needed to enhance overall restaurant offerings.
Skills
- Extensive experience in food industry management with a focus on quick service & fast food or casual dining environments.
- Proven supervisory skills with a background in staff training & development within hospitality or restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management including food production, culinary techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences.
- Ability to manage inventory control effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
