We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Housing Stability Specialist to join our Housing Navigation Team--an initiative that is focused on ending chronic homelessness.
About the Role
As a Housing Stability Specialist, you will:
- Provide intensive case management using Housing First, Harm Reduction, and trauma- informed care approaches.
- Support individuals and families to access and maintain stable housing while connecting them with community resources.
- Manage a caseload of 12-15 households, offering personalized, client-centered care.
- Collaborate with community partners in the Fargo-Moorhead area to strengthen support networks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of professional or lived experience providing empowering, culturally humble supports to individuals impacted by homelessness and poverty.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with an ability to work respectfully and effectively with individuals from various backgrounds.
- Candidates from underrepresented groups, including people of color, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and those with intersectional identities, are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Flexibility to meet program needs, including occasional evenings and outdoor work.
- Valid driver’s license required.
