Presentation Academy is a college preparatory academy for young women and Louisville’s original Catholic school. Founded in 1831 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Presentation is strategically and conveniently located in downtown Louisville – its biggest classroom. The school serves a diverse student population from more than 50 zip codes in the Kentuckiana area. Presentation is a close-knit community of teachers, staff, parents, alumnae and supporters who help prepare Pres girls for living and leading in a global society.
Presentation seeks a full-time math teacher to begin immediately for the 2025-2026 school year.
Responsibilities
- Manage classroom dynamics to create a conducive learning environment.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster collaboration.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
- Facilitate a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all learners.
