What are the responsibilities and job description for the Athletic Director/Coach position at Prescott School District?
Position Summary
The Athletic Director/Coach shall have the responsibility for the coordination and general
supervision of the athletic activities of the secondary schools in the District, working closely
with the head coaches, school administrators, and central office staff in planning and operation
of the Athletic Department. This position will coach and instruct student athletes, individually
or in groups, regarding the rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques of the sport. Will
promote a positive and motivating environment for student-athletes and will model and
promote good sportsmanship, respect, and integrity on and off the field.
Qualifications:
? Must have a current Arkansas teaching license
? Must possess effective leadership and management skills, with a proven background of
coaching experience
? First Aid and CPR certification preferred
Reports to: Superintendent
Compensation:
Salary and benefits commensurate with experience and district policy.
Start Date: July 1, 2025
