Prescott Epoxy Company is hiring a Sales Consultant to drive revenue through active prospecting and in-home sales of premium garage floor coatings in the Prescott, AZ quad-city area.
This is a prospecting-first role. You generate your own leads through yard signs, neighbor canvassing at job sites and estimates, and commercial outreach. You also run in-home estimates, present Good-Better-Best package options, and close deals on the spot. Company vehicle and company phone provided.
What You'll Do:
- Actively prospect for new business: place yard signs, canvass neighbors at every estimate and active job site, pursue commercial opportunities (property managers, HOAs, auto dealerships)
- Run in-home estimates using our six-step consultative sales process
- Present three package tiers (Classic, Signature, Showroom) and let homeowners self-select
- Close deals on-site with signed proposals and collected deposits
- Offer Enhancify financing proactively when budget is a factor
- Enter every estimate into DripJobs CRM within 2 hours of the appointment
- Execute proposal follow-up cadence for unsigned proposals
- Hit or exceed a 45% estimate-to-book close rate
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years of in-home or field sales experience (home improvement, roofing, solar, HVAC, painting, or similar trades)
- Demonstrated track record of prospecting and generating your own leads, not just running pre-set appointments
- Proven ability to close deals in person, on the spot
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Comfortable presenting three price tiers and handling objections without discounting
- Experience with good-better-best or tiered pricing models preferred
- Familiarity with construction, coatings, or concrete trades preferred
Compensation:
- Draw-versus-commission structure: $1,000/week draw (guaranteed during 90-day ramp, then recoverable against commissions)
- Commission: 12% on self-sourced leads, 8% on company-provided leads
- Realistic first-year OTE: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on close rate and prospecting production
- Performance bonuses for exceeding monthly targets
