Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mandarin Teacher to join our team. As a Mandarin Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in the Mandarin language to students, ages 3-5. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Teach students the fundamentals of the Mandarin language, including vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversation skills
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of evaluation
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Mandarin language program
- Stay updated on current teaching methods and resources in language education
Skills:
- Fluent in Mandarin with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Mandarin grammar, vocabulary, and culture
- Experience in teaching Mandarin to students of various ages and proficiency levels
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Proficient in classroom management techniques to create a positive learning environment
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan and manage lessons
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies for students who may require additional support
- Familiarity with literacy education principles for language acquisition
- Passion for teaching and motivating students to learn the Mandarin language
