This dynamic role supports the Area Supervisor in overseeing daily housekeeping operations and steps in for the Housekeeping Manager when needed. You’ll also take on hands‑on housekeeping duties, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Inspect and survey for compliance with departmental housekeeping and cleanliness standards with proper documentation.
• Assist Environmental Service Supervisor with staff assignments and work scheduling.
• Provide input for Environmental Service staff evaluations, as needed.
• Demonstrate component and safe use of cleaning materials/equipment, and explains methods of cleaning to ensure the most efficient and economical use of materials and staff.
• Participate in applicable/related educational programs.

Qualifications:

• High school or G.E.D preferred.
• One to three years experience in healthcare housekeeping.
• Good communication skills
