Washington, PA – Full-time; Hourly, Non-exempt; Daylight Hours

Starting Pay: $21.00/hour - $23.00/hour; Depending on experience; $2,000 sign-on bonus for full time employees.

The Apartment Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, and timely response to service requests involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general building systems to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained living environment for residents. The technician provides courteous, resident-focused service while maintaining compliance with safety standards and housing regulations.

Requirements for the Apartment Maintenance Technician:

• High school diploma or GED AND 2 years of maintenance experience, or 1 year of experience in electrical, HVAC, and plumbing and 6 months specific education in one of the following trades: Electricity; HVAC; Plumbing/Fitting; or Carpentry.
• Have basic computer skills (email, web searching, Microsoft Outlook). Ability to use position specific work order systems.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a registered and insured vehicle for regular travel between communities or as needed.
• Be able to effectively interact with all visitors, residents, and staff.
