Personal Care Administrator

The Personal Care Administrator is responsible to carry out the day-to-day personal care operations. The PC Administrator establishes and directs overall operations of community activities, both internal and external in order to provide excellent care to our residents. The PC Administrator coordinates operations to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.

REQUIRED Licensure

• Current PC Administrator licensure, in state position is located
  
  

OR

• Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) licensure, in state position is located
  
  

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Social Work background strongly preferred
• Previous experience as a Nursing Home Administrator or PC Administrator preferred
• Experience in Long Term Care setting preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state and local regulations
  
  

Responsibilities And Expectations

• Responsible for meeting or exceeding occupancy and mix goals.
• Oversee clinical services to ensure the highest quality of care and satisfactory resident outcomes.
• Accountable for the direction, coordination and supervision of all activities within the Health Center.
• Collaborate on annual budget and fiscal control of the community to meet budget targets.
• Develop positive relationships and are accessible to all residents, families, visitors and staff.
• Make recruitment recommendations and decisions.
• Participate in training, supervision and discipline of staff.
• Complete performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Act as a liaison between the community and all outside agencies.
• Endorse community in positive way to the greater community.
• Maintain and prepare records and reports as required by policies and regulations.
• Ensure resident rights and smooth transition throughout community.
• Act as a catalyst for quality improvement.
• Perform daily rounding on residents and staff.
• Promote effective marketing and public relations.
• Remain compliant with all federal, state, local and corporate regulations.
