The Dining Room Server is responsible for preparing dining areas for meals, serving food in a timely manner. This position also assists with the cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen and dining area in addition to kitchenware and equipment.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Excellent customer services skills
- Prepare dining areas for meals; this may include setting tables with dinnerware and decoration.
- Serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper food temperature when serving.
- Communicate with and respond to customer meal requests.
- Obtain meal orders.
- Monitor and maintain proper levels of supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms.
- May observe and report changes in residents dining habits to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Maintain adequate cleanliness of dining services equipment and work area.
- Ensure proper storage of food items according to policy.
- May operate dishwasher when appropriate.
