- Interview, hire, and train dietary staff.
- Promote employee skill development through on-the-job training and quarterly seminars.
- Complies with production, handling, and quality food standards related to patient food and clinical nutrition areas.
- Work with residents and staff to plan parties, bill parties that occur in the dining room, and communicate food-related concerns to the Chef.
- Attend weekly supervisor and catering meetings, monthly food committee meetings, and resident assessment meetings.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Dietary Manager experience in a skilled nursing, intermediate care, memory care or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare dietary regulations
