The Restorative Aide is responsible for providing restorative and rehabilitation care for residents to maintain or regain physical, mental and emotional well-being by supporting the choices of residents, while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Restorative Aide reports directly to the Clinical Administrator, Rehab Director, Fitness Director or designee

Walnut Ridge provides a full continuum of services for our residents including Independent Living, Assisted Living, Assisted living Memory Care and Long Term/Skilled Care.

1. Successful completion of 75-hour Nurse Aide course (required). Successful completion of a state approved
Restorative Aide program preferred.
2. One-year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, restorative or rehabilitation aide or equivalent
preferred.
3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
4. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
5. Must have Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent within 90 days of date of hire (for aquatic
programming as applicable).
6. Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, resident-directed practice, home building, critical thinking,
teamwork,self-leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.
7. Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
8. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all
customers.
