Harbor Crossing is seeking an On Call Cook to join the team

 

Harbor Crossing senior living community in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, offers homestyle living with beautiful views of nature along with the convenience of nearby stores and highways for visiting family and friends. As the name implies, Harbor Crossing is a place where seniors feel safe and supported. Every day, residents are greeted with caring staff, neighboring friends, and endless opportunities to experience new things. This community includes independent living, assisted living and memory care apartment homes as well as supportive services to provide older adults choices to live well today and every day!

Responsibilities

The Cook is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experience for customers by preparing and serving attractive, nutritious and palatable meals consistent with regulations and established policies, procedures and best practices.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent education.

• Knowledge of State and Federal food-handling regulations, including food service operations strong desired.

• Demonstrated compatibility PHS's mission and operating philosophies.

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.

Pay Range

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $21.00 - $22.64 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
