Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper maintenance, repair and/or upkeep of all buildings, grounds, equipment and vehicles.
- Assist in fire drills to ensure proper response.
- Respond promptly and warmly to residents and their families requests, maintaining positive and respectful relationships.
- Manage maintenance requisitions.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulation standards, policies and procedures.
- Perform regular inspections of residents, ancillary, and common areas to ensure an orderly safe environment.
- Purchase supplies and equipment in an effective and efficient manner
- Maintain on-call status when scheduled and respond appropriately
- Train all department employees
- Maintain CMMS database for all assets, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and reports
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or associate degree in related field
- Valid South Carolina driver’s license
- 1-3 years related supervisory experience
- Intermediate computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of related or supervisory experience in long term care environment
- Certification in related maintenance services (HVAC preventive maintenance, safety, etc.)
