Position Summary
The Facilities & Game Operations Coordinator supports the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations and the Athletic Facilities Supervisor in the daily management and oversight of all athletic facilities and event operations. This role plays a vital part in the maintenance, preparation, and overall functionality of Presbyterian College’s athletic venues, ensuring they are ready for practices, competitions, postseason events, and select non-athletic activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain all athletic facilities, including field lining, surface care, and general upkeep
Oversee event setup, tear-down, and in-game operations for athletic contests
Fleet management (athletic department vehicles and utility vehicles)
Coordinate logistics for visiting teams, officials, and event personnel
Assist with game day parking and traffic management
Serve as game manager for select home events
Maintain storage areas and manage the movement of practice and game-day equipment
Collaborate with coaches, staff, and administrators to support facility and event needs
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to operate and maintain paint machines, floor cleaning equipment, utility vehicles, and related
tools
Basic knowledge of athletic field preparation and maintenance
Ability to properly care for and maintain facilities, equipment, fields, and office spaces
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
1–2 years of related experience in athletic facilities, operations, or event management
