Position Overview
Presby Child Care Center is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Manager to support the daily operations of our established child care center. Reporting to the Director and Assistant Director, the Office Manager serves as a key member of the administrative team, providing operational, financial, and administrative support while serving as a welcoming resource for families, staff, and the broader Presby community.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and contributing to a mission-driven organization dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for young children. The hours are 10am to 6pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative operations and office functions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for families, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain student records and ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and distribute communications, newsletters, and other center correspondence.
- Manage tuition billing, payment processing, financial recordkeeping, and accounts receivable using ProCare Solutions and other systems.
- Coordinate with the bookkeeper on financial reporting, deposits, invoices, and budget-related activities.
- Support center safety, security, and emergency preparedness procedures.
- Maintain inventory and coordinate purchasing of classroom and office supplies.
- Assist with staffing coordination, special projects, and other operational needs.
Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree (A.A.) required.
- 3 years working in a professional office environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Pay: $45,760.00 - $54,080.00 per year
