This role serves as a technical Project Manager and Change Champion supporting multiple implementation projects across technology and process initiatives.
Key focus:
- Delivering IT projects end-to-end (planning, execution, governance, reporting)
- Acting as a bridge between IT, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Driving organizational change management and end-user adoption
- Supporting rollout of AI initiatives, Microsoft Teams enhancements, and broader IT modernization efforts
Responsibilities
- Program & Project Leadership
- Define program/project goals aligned with IT and business strategy
- Establish governance structures and KPIs
- Serve as primary PM for assigned initiatives
- Develop and maintain:
- Project plans
- Status reports
- Documentation and governance artifacts
- Run weekly project status meetings and ensure follow-through on action items
Stakeholder & Technical Liaison Role
- Act as the main connector between:
- Internal IT teams
- Business stakeholders (including Legal and Admin)
- External vendors
- Facilitate communication across cross-functional groups
- Provide regular updates on:
- Project status
- Risks and issues
- Mitigation plans
Change Management / Adoption Leadership
- Serve as change champion across IT initiatives
- Partner with Training teams to ensure adoption success
- Identify resistance points and build mitigation strategies
- Measure adoption effectiveness and implement corrective actions
- Ensure changes are fully embedded into end-user operations post go-live
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Strong interviewing / requirements-gathering ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organization, planning, and follow-through skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a matrix environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Comfort working in high-change environments
- Experience with IT project delivery and/or technical PM work
- Familiarity with organizational change management principles (ADKAR preferred)
Preferred Skills
- Minimum 5 years in technical or IT-related roles
- Experience in legal, financial services, or healthcare environments (preferred alternatives if no law firm background)
- Prior exposure to:
- Enterprise system implementations
- End-user adoption initiatives
- Change-heavy environments
