Vending Machine Operator – MSY Airport
We are looking for a dependable and self-motivated Vending Machine Operator to manage inventory, restocking, and light maintenance for a network of vending machines located inside the MSY Airport. This is a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Position Overview:
As a Vending Machine Operator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all machines are fully stocked, clean, and in working condition. You will be responsible for picking up pre-ordered inventory, confirming quantities, restocking each machine according to product rotation standards, and maintaining accurate records of stock levels and sales data. You’ll also be the first point of contact for identifying and reporting technical issues with the machines.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring a positive customer experience and maintaining the reputation of the vending service at this high-traffic location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Pick up inventory from designated locations, verify order accuracy, and transport stock to machines in a timely manner.
- Restocking: Refill vending machines with coffee products, treavel essentials and sound products ensuring compliance with rotation policies.
- Machine Maintenance: Wipe down and clean machines during each visit. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting; escalate larger technical issues to management promptly.
- Reporting: Complete restock report which includes counts on Prepangos Restock App. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and reconcile discrepancies.
- Customer Experience: Ensure machines are clean, well-presented, and operational, contributing to a seamless user experience for airport visitors.
Compensation: $20-$23
Must have valid drivers license
Must be able to pass background check
